Violet de la Torre is a multidisciplinary artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has been a licensed esthetician since 2012, and has honed her skills in Special Effects artistry, specializing in prosthetic application, sculpting, latex mask-making, and painting. Her work has been featured on social media pages, websites, and even in Phantasmag, an independent queer horror magazine. Violet’s special effects work has appeared in several short films, earning her IMDb credits. As of 2024, her focus has expanded to filmmaking with the indie production company, 3 Knocks Productions, whose short films have been featured on the Screamify streaming app. Violet also produces films independently on her personal YouTube channel, and creates film reviews, film-related, and special effects-related content on TikTok. In addition to her artistic practice, Violet has been an early childhood educator for over 10 years, a role that reflects her commitment to creativity, guidance, and inspiring young minds.
